“Now is not a good time, I have too much on my plate as it is.”
“My work schedule is so busy it’s just too hard to eat healthy”
“I travel for work so it’s impossible to change my diet”
“ I am going on vacation in a month, I will start when I get back”
“I don’t eat that bad, even though I have Gout and High Cholesterol”
Do any of these excuses to not change your diet sound familiar?
Have you ever wanted something really bad?
I am talking move mountains, go to the ends of the Earth, come Hell or high water kind of want?
How did you get it? Did it come easy? Did a fairy come along and deliver it? Did you wake up one morning and magically the thing you wanted most had appeared?
Or did you have to work for it? Did you have yo make it a priority in your life and work your butt of to achieve that goal?
Good health is no different! We all make excuses! We all justify our decision to go to the drive thru on our way home from a busy day of work or order a pizza when we get home.
So, do yourself a favor. Just be honest with yourself! Next time you start to tell yourself that you just don’t have time to cook dinner or prepare a lunch to take with you to the office…stop! Tell yourself the truth…I don’t want to! I don’t want to cook! I don’t want to prepare a lunch!
The truth shall set you free!
Or…..it will make you realize that we are all out of excuses.
You have an opportunity to change your life. Right now. Right this very minute. You have a chance to make a difference in the quality of your life. Do you really want to tell your loved ones that you are sorry? Sorry you didn’t take the opportunity given to you to make a difference and now they have to take care of you, or worse?
